Breakfast:
A full, hot breakfast is included in the cost of each guest room. Our professional pastry chef prepares and serves a two-course breakfast from 8:00 to 9:00 am each morning in the Loyalist dining room. The first course is individually plated and is designed to give our guests time to meet and swap travel stories. The menu changes daily and features delicious eye-openers such as warm bread pudding with real maple syrup, yogurt parfaits with fresh seasonal berries or a selection of fresh breakfast pastries.
 |
The second course is served family-style and consists of a main dish and two side dishes plus fresh homemade bread. The main selection is meatless and one of the side dishes will be locally-produced sausage, bacon or ham. The most popular 2005 breakfast main dishes were buttery blueberry-stuffed French toast, our special East Coast omelet, and creamy cheddar eggs in puff pastry. The menu changes daily and we are always anxious to create new breakfast sensations! (And we are happy to share our recipes—just ask.) |
Juice, milk, fresh locally roasted coffee and a large selection of teas are part of your breakfast service. Soy or rice milk is always available. Because all meal items are prepared ‘from scratch’, we can accommodate most special dietary preferences. Please let us know your special needs with as much advance notice as possible.
