A stately Island home built in the 1860’s, Maplethorpe opened to the public as a unique bed and breakfast accommodation in 2002. Our antique-filled guest rooms retain the home’s original Victorian charm but are equipped to serve contemporary travelers with private baths, in-room cable television, telephone and high speed wireless Internet access. For 2006 we’ve added a spacious and bright vacation apartment available for weekly rental. We’re open year ‘round, so plan your Island escape anytime!
